I put a bet on a horse to come in at 10 to 1 – and it did! Unfortunately, all the others came in at 12.30.
Sorry! But that about sums up my success at our recent day at the races. In late September, the MMGA team ventured to Perth Race Day. Despite the forecast of rain, we enjoyed the sunshine, a delicious lunch and a little wine as we traded our tips and knowledge about racing (or selected the horse with the best name…!)
It’s important for our team to get out of the office to enjoy each other’s company when we can, as this lovely montage of photographs attest to!
And, what do you call a horse that can’t lose a race? Sherbet.
